Davy Crockett star Fess Parker dies
Fess Parker, the Hollywood actor who found fame in the Disney classics Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone died yesterday of natural causes. He was 85.
Family spokeswoman Sao Anash said Parker, who was later a major California winemaker and property developer, died at his home in Santa Ynez Valley. His death came on the 84th birthday of his wife of 50 years, Marcella.
Parker was coherent and speaking with family just minutes before his death, said Anash.
"Fess Parker has been a role model and idol of mine since I first saw him on the big screen — he is a true Hollywood legend," said Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Governor of California and former Hollywood star in a statement.
"As a talented actor and successful businessman, he was an inspirational Californian whose contributions to our state will be remembered forever."
Former first lady Nancy Reagan said Parker was "a longtime friend to Ronnie and me ... He will be greatly missed."

Tiger Woods’s alleged mistresses Joslyn James has posted a series of test messages on website which she claims that Tiger sent her last year. Former porn star said that she posted the text messages to make it easier for others to draw a conclusion. During an interview Joslyn James said that she had relation with golfer but now he is not ready to take the responsibility of his behavior.
A report says that the porn actress tried to cash in with various media outlets on the explicit texts but she couldn’t get any positive response then she created her own website to expose her relation with famous golfer. On Thursday she has posted more than 100 text messages on her website www.sextingjoslynjames.com. Everything is clear now because most of the messages even provide the details of hotel rooms and timings where they met last year.

Getting the point
Every time B.J. Holmes has had to play the point for Texas A&M, he's responded well. Yet media members always ask him the same thing afterward: How difficult was it?
After playing 36 minutes at point guard against Kansas in the Big 12 semifinals, Holmes had to admit it was plenty difficult -- at least that time out.
"Thirty-six minutes at the point I'm not used to, so that was eye-opening," Holmes said. "Physically, they are pressuring you the whole time at the point, and guarding Sherron [Collins] is not an easy task."
Holmes will take every minute he can get. Just three weeks ago he thought he had broken his foot when Texas' J'Covan Brown charged into him, and they both went crashing to the floor late in A&M's 74-58 victory at Reed Arena.
"I don't take anything for granted," Holmes said. "Every time I play it's like it's my last game. I'm glad it's not broken. It was a blessing to me, and I'm going to play harder every game. That's the way I go in looking at it."
While Dash Harris is A&M's starting point guard, Holmes has gained the confidence of A&M head coach Mark Turgeon, who isn't afraid to use Holmes when neeeded.
"I thought he was phenomenal against Kansas," Turgeon said. "B.J. did a great job of guarding [Collins] and running the team. Two years ago I couldn't hardly play B.J. at the point, which shows how far he's come."
What really happened
In the Big 12 tournament loss to Kansas, Turgeon appeared to be saying something to Collins during a skirmish that occurred when both teams were walking to their benches during a timeout.
Turgeon on Monday assured everyone he was yelling at the official to break up what was going on, that the official was allowing the skirmish to happen and if he'd have done his job there wouldn't have had to be a double technical.
"They had the same problem the night before in the Texas-Baylor game," Turgeon said. "I would never say anything to another player, no matter how heated the moment is. Even if they said something to me, I'd walk down to the coach and say something to him but not to the player."
Too young to know what's going on
Freshman Khris Middleton said he was teased for being so calm while the Aggies watched the NCAA tournament selection show Sunday.
"It was real fun," he said. "I thought I'd be nervous, but I was just watching TV. It was easy knowing we'd be in the tournament."
Sophomore point guard Dash Harris said the freshman will learn what it means Friday when he takes the court.
"They don't really notice it yet," Harris said. "Selection Sunday, our hearts were racing to see where we're playing and who we're playing. I'm excited about it. I can't wait knowing how we lost last year. I don't want to experience that again."
A&M won its opener against BYU last season but was never in its second-round game against No. 1 seed Connecticut, losing 92-66.

NCAA Wrestling Championships 2010 Results
The University of Iowa’s wrestlers have taken the lead in the NCAA Wrestling Competition with 34.5 points, advancing eight student-athletes to next round. These eight qualified athletes will play quarterfinals on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Qwest Center in Omaha, NE. Last day, they rocked the competition by winning 18 fights out of 20. Iowa is the only team whose wrestlers won maximum fights. With 26 points and 5 quarterfinalists, Oklahoma State is at 2nd place while Iowa State was declared the owner for third position who had 24 points with five quarter-finalists.
The following 8 wrestlers of Iowa team won their second round matches and got qualification for quarterfinals. These wrestlers are: Daniel Dennis (133), Brent Metcalf (149), Ryan Morningstar (165), Jay Borschel (174), Phillip Keddy (184) and Dan Erekson (Hwt.), Montell Marion (141) and Matt McDonough (125). The only Iowan player who got defeat was junior Jake Kerr who was defeated by No.1 seed J.P. O’Connor of Harvard at 157 with scores 8-1.
Definitely, Head Coach is very happy. Tom Brands said that they had a very good round that day and then the key was to keep the intensity up and keep improving with every match.They are favored in five of their eight quarterfinal matches on Friday and he is confident that they will easily win those five matches.
